Welcome to the Tawas Bay Yacht Club. We share our harbor with the Department of Homeland Security and the channel is on the right hand side of the picture above. Please note that the point is guarded by a large shoal area, to starboard as you approach by sea. You can NOT cross this, except on foot.  You may anchor out usually close to shore on the left hand side of the picture above. To approach by car go north on US23 through town to the Big Boy and turn to the right. Please observe the speed limits.

Our club hosts many social and recreational events, and is an active yacht club, registered with US sailing. We host many racing and open invitation sailing events through-out the season.  Our docks usually go in in late April and come out in early Oct, making for fantastic racing and sailing in drop dead beautiful Tawas Bay and in the Outer Bay which can be as easy or as challenging as you like.

We have a well appointed club-house for members and guests with a Nautical themed cafeteria and bar, showers and pump out facilities. Fuel is available at the State dock across the bay. Come join us in our playground.
